Hot springs in Idaho

I went down to Idaho last weekend with McKenna to just hang out with the fam. We went to this swim place which was a natural hot spring. It was really fun!
I got her these floaties, but they did not work at all, so I tried a life jacket, but that was no good either. She just needs to learn how to swim so she can go off by herself, which I am sure she will do in no time.

McKenna is a fish, she loves the water! She kept trying to swim by herself and therefore swallow water, it was really funny but frustrating because she wouldn't let me help her, so I confined her to the stairs.
Keara is a little afraid of the water, but Gwennie like McKenna, love it! McKenna had fun playing with her cousins and auntie and grandma.

Visit with Grandpa

Granpa Park is 99 years old. We thought that we would get some pics together because we are not sure he will be around much longer.

McKenna loves playing with her great grandpa. She likes to bring him toys and show them to him.2

Cute things from Miss McKenna

McKenna got some new sun glasses and loves to wear them. She is so funny, she will kind of take them away from her eyes and stare at you and then put them back up, it is hilarious!

My mom came in town for the weekend and we were at the mall and saw the sunglasses and knew she had to have them.

I also thought this was halarious, she took the diet coke bottle (Gary and Suzanne, I know you will love this)and she tried to drink the last little bit of it. Whenever we drink one she is always like "drink, pease" and signs please at the same time. After she is done taking a sip she always goes "aaahh" so funny!

Lastly, her talking on the phone. She is really obsessed with phones. She is always like "hewo" and pretends to talk. Of course when someone is actually on the phone and she wants to talk she won't say anything but "hi". She really is a character though.

Getting started

I decided to finally get updated with this blog. I have had it since August but never really did anything with it. I think this will be great to keep everyone updated on Miss McKenna and how much she is growing.

McKenna is almost 20 months now and is everywhere and into everything. She has mellowed out a little believe it or not. She is so smart and says pretty much anything. In fact, just today she had bumped her head and I noticed there was a little scratch and I touched it and she said "owwie, It huts!"

Probably the funniest thing she does now is when I put her down for a nap and she doesn't want to take one, she starts yelling really loud "Hey!" so that we will come back and get her. It is so cute!
She is so sweet and cute, we just love her to death. She misses all of her cousins, grandmas, grandpas, Aunts and Uncles. We have a picture of almost all our family and she always points to the pictures and says their names and gets so excited when we talk about you.

Her latest fad is watching movies. When she wakes up in the morning the first thing she says after she says hi is movie? yeah? We only let her watch a little bit of a movie a day so she is not sitting in front of it all day, not that she really would if we let her anyway.

Anyway, just thought I would give you a short update on what McKenna is up to these days.

As for Travis and I, we are counting down the days until we are done managing....it is such a pain! We are grateful we had the opportunity, but it is time to move on.
Travis is working for a company called Western Standard now and is loving it. It is a good job and he will probably be there for another year and then we will see where we go from there. I am just busy with office stuff, McKenna, and young women's. It is such a fun calling, but I will be getting released in April since we are moving. I will be sad, but I am so glad I got to serve in this calling.
That's it for now, so till next time, we love you all and hope you are all doing well.
